The only reason that Hillary Clinton’s e-mails are even in play is because the Republicans knew early on that she would be their toughest competition in 2016 and tried their best to hope for an indictment to get her out of the race. It didn’t work, and they continue to make it an issue. Can any of the Republicans state a specific case where any of the e-mails actually caused the country harm or put us at risk? So far all they talk about is in generalities with no other proof. Talk about something to hide: Where is Donald Trump’s tax return. You will never see it, as it not going to be released because of the longest audit in IRS history.

It seems that many of today’s grossly overpaid professional athletes find exception with showing respect for our country’s national anthem and U.S. flag. The “protest gesture du jour” is just to sit during the anthem. Well, I have a suggestion to all those fans in the stands — during the games you should do the same, but in the comfort of your home. Maybe, if enough ticket owners hold these “self-righteous types” to a standard that affects their pocketbooks, the bravado they show in disrespecting our anthem and flag will start to dissipate.

I’m tired of hearing how exhausting it is for a politician to be on the campaign trail. From what I see, they travel on first-class private jets and don’t carry their bags or run through airports. Then they get door-to-door limo drop-off service, unless Hillary is pumping the gas or loading the trunk. Then hotels, meals, packing and laundry all taken care of by their staff ahead of time. She has aides for every need, though on 9/11, she was short an aide to keep fanning her. The hardest part must be keeping her stories straight.

When will John from Hegewisch wake up? Hillary Clinton is not going to take your guns away any more than President Obama did. Remember when everyone was saying he was going to take guns away and eliminate the Second Amendment? It’s almost eight years and it still hasn’t happened. So why do you think it will happen now? By the way, the president cannot change the Constitution. Please read the document to learn about the process of changing it. Amending the Constitution was purposely made difficult by our founding fathers.

Woo, hoo. The long awaited football season has arrived and in the best scenario of predictions, the Bears are expected to go 8-8. In other words, another mediocre season ahead and yet their stadium will be filled to capacity. It they were a prime time TV show, they’d have been canceled years ago. It’s already been 35 years and, at this rate, the Cubs may not be the only ones trying to snap a hundred-year drought.

When Secretary Clinton listed the phobias that half of Trump supporters have, she forgot to mention those that have a phobia against corrupt, scandal-ridden politicians with no record of accomplishment, other than enriching themselves.

I have laugh whenever someone complains about the bias of the press against The Donald and how badly they’re hammering him. Seriously? All the press is doing is reporting his words, telling us what he has said at rallies, interviews or tweeted. The Donald does a good job hammering himself with what comes out of his mouth, or his tweeted words. There is no need to help with the hammering.

It seems Sam still doesn’t want to accept the truth — Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is not fit to be our commander-in-chief. Sam goes on to tell me to get my facts straight before I comment about Hillary. Well Sam, I do have the correct facts before I comment. I’m sorry you and the liberal media can’t accept that this woman is an elitist and a habitual liar. Just the fact that her own party went out of their way to screw Bernie Sanders should be enough to know that this woman will do or say anything to be in power. And Sam, these are facts.
