Hey NICTD, it is ridiculous that you raise fares every year but waste money on radio commercials.

A Quickly reader states that the Trump campaign is financed by China and Russia. We all know that is false, but if it were true, think how much this would be helping our balance of trade and how many Americans it would be putting to work.

If a neighbor is elderly or disabled, like mine, I do assist in lawn care. If another neighbor is lazy and doesn’t care, like mine, I’m not going to help them. I report them to city code enforcement.

I do wish the Hoosier gal that thinks life in Chicago is so vibrant compared to Indiana would please move. The corrupt public employee pensions in Chicago and Illinois need people of your intelligence to fund the insanity.

The person who called television a “vast wasteland” wasn’t a recent Quickly commenter. It was Newton Minnow, head of the Federal Communications Commission. The year was 1961, back when the top three programs on television were Wagon Train, Bonanza, and Gunsmoke.

The Republicans touted straight shooter, “Donny the Kid,” keeps firing from the hip. He’s sent off so many errant shots that even his own deputies like Mike Pence have had to grab the gun from his holster.

Every day I get calls from credit card companies and calls from a place telling me my computer is at risk. I am on the Do Not Call List and it is a joke. Land line and cell phones are both on the list and it makes no difference.

Trump promises to ramp up the military. I wonder how many people realize over 60 percent of our tax dollars currently go toward war and our military. How much more ramping up do they need?

32 million adults in the United States are illiterate, and yet it seems to be gospel that parents are the best ones to decide what education is good for their children?

Trump will be the next president, unless you think Cinderella and her golden slippers were guaranteed.

With all due respect to Obama, oil prices are down because OPEC wants to drive some of these fracking companies into bankruptcy. Fracking has hurt their bottom line.

I’m afraid Trump is right about the dismal performance of the media. They keep treating this buffoon like a serious candidate.

When Hobart decided to widen 61st Avenue they should have made it four lanes instead of three. This isn’t hindsight, it’s what most people said when the widening was proposed.

Why does the state of Indiana approve liquor sales in state park, yet won’t allow Sunday liquor sales? The batting average for Indiana liquor lobby is 1.000, and Indiana taxpayers are batting zero. Illinois is raking in Indiana liquor revenue every Sunday.

Don Trump is not perfect but at least he will support the American workers with his stances on trade and immigration.

After moving to a rural area I see all the contamination the crops cause for people living nearby. Spraying chemicals in the spring that smell terrible, when it’s damp the whole area stinks terrible from the fertilizer (which is not organic) and crop dusting in September. Between what we drink from our wells, breathe in everyday, then eating whatever the farmers sell, we all should be dead.

If local politicians are not monitoring Quickly, they should be.

My question to you is have you ever worked for a labor union? You have strong views about pay for no work. I have worked as part of a union for over 20 years and your view is far from the truth.

9/11 united America like nothing in recent history. Trump has divided America like nothing in recent history.
