A 12-year-old boy is accused of several armed robberies recently on the North Side.

The boy is charged with felony armed robbery with a firearm, according to a statement from Chicago police.

The robberies occurred in the 700 to 900 block of North Larrabee Avenue in the River North and Goose Island neighborhoods from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Monday, police said.

The 12-year-old approached men and women 24 to 58 years old, pulled a gun and demanded their property, police said.

No one was hurt.
