Unnecessary traffic jam
Anyone familiar with the intersection of Green Bay Road and Cherokee in south Lake Forest knows that the corner is jammed every school day morning just before 8 a.m. as drivers in SUVs take kids to Cherokee School located a short half block east of the intersection. This morning three large city trucks blocked the east bound lane of Cherokee as a crew cut down a large dead tree located between the sidewalk and street curb about 100 feet east of the intersection. Work started about 7:30 a.m. and created an unnecessary traffic snarl as 8 a.m. approached. This could have been avoided by scheduling the tree removal later in the morning after 8:30 a.m. since it only took about an hour to remove the tree. Or is it too much to expect common sense in city planning/scheduling?
Gun plan
Observe the Illinois cars in the parking lots of out-of-state gun stores. Use the information to track the travels of the car owner. Observe who visits the home of the car owner. If the person leaves with a package find a reason to stop and question the person. If the person is a convicted felon and a search reveals a firearm you may then have a basis to conduct a search of the home that was visited. Would this withstand legal challenges? Perhaps not, but in the meantime one or more guns are off the streets and a gun runner is put on notice to end his business.
Voting the party line
Any person who votes for Donald Trump is deplorable. They are voting the party line. They are not voting for America. They will bring America down.
Time for retraining
Hillary Clinton wants to retrain our police force. President Obama wanted to retrain our military. After deleting 33,000 emails and jeopardizing our national security, maybe Hillary should be retrained.
Stumping for Trump
I watched the debate. Lester Holt asked Donald Trump the hard questions. Hillary Clinton got all the soft questions. Hillary’s arrogant and smug look said a lot. Donald is for real. Hillary is a phony.
Rating the debate
Hillary Clinton looked great in the debate. Donald Trump had the facial expressions and body language that suggested an imbecile.
Presidential plans
Why don’t Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton mention what they are going to do about Social Security and Medicare? Are they afraid the older people will just vote for the one who will secure Social Security?
