David Wilczynski, 18, of Brookfield answered questions while visiting his alma mater, Lyons Township High School.
Q: When did you graduate?
A: In 2016
Q: What are you doing now?
A: I’m majoring in cinema arts and sciences with a focus on screenwriting at Columbia College in Chicago.
Q: Why did you choose that major?
A: I’ve always wanted to tell stories and film is a passion of mine.
Q: What activities did you take part in at LT?
A: I was involved in a lot of theater. And a lot of what I learned came from the LTTV TV (a student-run cable television station at the school).
Q: What’s your favorite movie?
A: Jurassic Park. It’s behind my interest in filmmaking. It sparked something in me.
Q: Will you end up working in Hollywood?
A: That’s the hope.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I’d have to say ribs.
Q: If you could have a super power, what would it be?
A: Telekinesis
Q: What do you miss about Lyons Township High School?
A: At LT, I had a tight knit group of friends. Now, I am on my own. It’s a jarring experience. But it’s not a bad one.
