Casting has been announced for the national tour of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask’s “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” coming to Chicago in March.

Euan Morton, who originated the role of Boy George in “Taboo,” will star as Hedwig with Hannah Corneau as Yitzhak. Corneau starred in the Marriott’s production of “Evita” in March.

Winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival, “Hedwig” follows the East German transgender star of a rock-‘n’roll band.

The national tour launched in October in San Francisco with Darren Criss in the title role.

“Hedwig and the Angry Inch” runs March 7-19 at the Oriental Theatre, 24 W. Randolph St.
