A man wearing all black, including a mask, a hoodie and pants, entered the dollar store, implied he had a gun and demanded money from the register, police said.
He grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled north to 34th Street and then east.
The robber, described as a black man age 20 to 30, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, has not been arrested, police said.
No one was injured.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
