A 27-year-old woman was working at a cellphone business on Aurora’s East Side when a man stole two phones and pushed her, Aurora police said.
At 6:27 p.m. Monday, the man entered the store in the 1500 block of Butterfield Road and took two iPhone 7s from a display, then pushed the employee when she tried to stop him, the woman told police.
The man ran out of the store and continued westbound, police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said in an email.
The phones were worth about $1,500, he said.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall, weighing 170 to 190 pounds, with a goatee and mustache, Ferrelli said. The man was wearing an orange construction vest, a white construction helmet and dark sun glasses, police said.
