Police are searching for a man who reached through a first-floor window and touched a 12-year-old girl he was trying to take a picture of in the Woodlawn neighborhood.
About 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, a man reached his hand through a window of a residence in the 6100 block of South Evans Avenue. He pulled on the girl’s top and tried to take a picture, police said. Police are classifying the incident as a case of sexual abuse.
The girl screamed, alerting her mother, who called police. The man fled eastbound on foot, police said.
The man was described by police as black with big brown eyes. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
