Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle was on the radio talking about how proud she was that the jails were being emptied of nonviolent offenders. Now, personally, you know that’s just going to increase crime because now there’s no motivation for anybody not to commit crime. She also said that jail’s keeping these people away from their families. How about if they just don’t commit the crime, or am I missing something?

Businessman Willie Wilson was seen on television bailing out hundreds of inmates. He served them Thanksgiving dinner and gave them $200 each. Wilson also opened up his heart on Sundays, attending different churches and giving toward the church. He called up the senior citizens and gave them $100 each. Going back over the years, Wilson took a busload and traveled throughout Southern areas giving away thousands of dollars. He ended up in the area destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and gave millions to those in need. Wilson is a self-made millionaire with a limited amount of education. However, he uses his money and his time and his common sense to help others. Thank you, Mr. Wilson, for your love.

Let’s face true facts. Mayor Rahm Emanuel has lost control over Chicago. With gangs, protesters and marchers, he’s lost it 100 percent. They need federal troops to offset this. The crime has gone up and up and up over new Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson. Nothing’s said.
