You’ll see ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap and hip hop dance styles at “When You Wish,” the 18th Annual Devonshire Dance Recital, 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. June 11 at Niles West High School, 5701 W. Oakton St., Skokie. The 172 dancers, ages 3-15, take lessons at the Skokie Park District. The park district’s Devonshire Dance Ensemble and new Dance Competition Team will also perform.

“It’s a Disney theme,” said Cultural Arts Supervisor Caryn Watson. “We went from the classic Disney all the way to the newer Disney films.” Participants will dance to such familiar Disney songs as “Be Our Guest” from “Beauty and the Beast,” “I See the Light” from “Tangled,” “The Scare Floor” from “Monsters, Inc.” and “Circle of Life” from “The Lion King.”

“It’s wonderful to see the dancers progress through the year and be so excited to show off what they’ve learned,” Watson said.

Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.
