The PrivateBank Theatre at 18 W. Monroe St. has a new name and marquee, Broadway in Chicago announced Monday.

The PrivateBank, where the Chicago production of “Hamilton” has played since October, has changed its name to the CIBC Theatre, following a June acquisition of the company. CIBC is a Canadian-based global financial institution.

Broadway in Chicago says that tickets to “Hamilton” that include the location as the PrivateBank Theatre will be valid for the newly named CIBC Theatre.
