The Aurora Regional Fire Museum will celebrate Halloween early this year by hosting a presentation by local paranormal group Ghost Head Soup Friday.
From 8 to 11 p.m., the group and museum officials will offer a presentation on paranormal investigations and spooky Aurora stories, according to a press release from the museum.
The presentation with Ghost Head Soup will include a presentation on paranormal investigation equipment. Participants may be able to handle and test several of the instruments, according to the release.
The event will also look at the history of the 1894 Old Central Station, where the museum is housed, as well as supernatural Aurora stories.
There will also be an investigation demonstration. Ghost Head Soup will lead participants throughout the museum and test out the equipment.
According to the release, Ghost Head Soup has conducted investigations throughout the northern Illinois area.
“An event like this is fun and celebrates the spirit of the season. It allows new audiences to come explore the museum and local Aurora history. Getting the community to think outside of the box when it comes to local history can foster new relationships with the community and organizations,” said Museum Assistant Cayla Wagner, who designed the program, in the release.
