Are you kidding me? Media proprietor Oprah Winfrey for president? Come on now. I just certainly hope that after this presidency with Donald Trump that people learn that we do need an experienced person in politics. If we live through this presidency I hope we all know better. We just have to try to find a politician who’s more suited. I don’t know if it’s possible but, please, no more TV stars or reality stars. I can’t stand it.

My conservative Christian friends tell me that the Bible has no contradictions. Yet, according to Genesis 35:19 Rachel was buried in Bethlehem, which is in the territory of Judah. However, 1 Samuel 10:2 places Rachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin, which is the home of King Saul, the first king of Israel. Now a simple reading of the text points out this glaring inconsistency but, unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of conservative Christians the world over refuse to read it and refuse to accept it.

The Republican Party is fond of using alternative facts. Now it looks like they’re going to have to use alternative laws on immigration because they can’t pick everybody up and throw them out of the country if they’re undocumented. They have their right by our law and our U.S. Constitution to court hearings, which can take up to five years by the time they finish with one, so President Donald Trump is just another incompetent and dishonest politician.

Why doesn’t House Speaker Michael Madigan, who’s been in Springfield over 30 years, take no salary? How much money does this clown need? What has he done for the people of Illinois? Nothing. Whenever he retires we’ll owe him for his pension. He’s a disgrace, and people keep voting this guy in. He should take a job with no salary and no benefits.
