How sad, the opening day for the Chicago Bulls who could have easily won if only Bobby Portis hadn’t taken that punch. That action caused two of the best players to not be in the game.
I’m really glad it’s over with. Can’t take another year of listening to the rabid fans talking about the Cubs and all the excess celebrations/parades. It’s just multimillionaires playing a ball game. They lost. Get a life. There’s things of more importance going on in the world. Crestwood
Since the Cubs and Dodgers have the same colors, I think the Cubs fans can pack up those annoying W flags and send them to Los Angeles. I’m sure their fans can use them.

My biggest issue with property taxes are the schools. I just don’t understand why the state of Illinois doesn’t fund these schools and the bill is put on the backs of the property owner. What about those of us who have no children and have to pay these school taxes? Schools need to live within their budgets and stop asking tax payers to fund their excessive spending. I had $6,600 in property taxes and $5,500 went to the schools. Really. I have complained to my state representative and nothing has been done to fix this matter.
