Cast members from the Chicago production of “Hamilton” will “Rise Up for Puerto Rico” this Monday at the Greenhouse Theater Center.
Spearheaded by Jose Ramos, a Chicago Academy for the Arts graduate who has family members in Puerto Rico, the all-ages benefit concert for Unidos Por Puerto Rico (an initiative to provide hurricane relief) will feature live performances from Ramos (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Ari Afsar (Eliza Hamilton), Miguel Cervantes (Alexander Hamilton), Chris Lee (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson) and more “Hamilton” company members.
“Chicago Fire” star Miranda Rae Mayo and the Chicago Cuatro Orchestra will also perform — as well as yet-to-be-announced special guests.
Doors open at 7 p.m. The evening will include a silent auction with tickets to the Chicago production of “Hamilton” up for grabs.
Tickets are available at greenhousetheater.org and 773-404-7336.
The Greenhouse Theater Center is located at 2257 N. Lincoln Ave.
