Trump tweeted “NOT IN THE U.S.A.” Well guess what, it did happen in the U.S.A., and it was on your watch, so now what?

“Only I can fix ISIS.” Well it is now November 1, and we have not seen that solution that he was so sure was going “to fix it.” Quit blaming everyone else, and DO SOMETHING!

Not to degrade organized crime, but most mafia guys never got past the 10th grade and yet they would not even talk on a phone due to bugging. These guys are leaving a digital and paper trail even the blind could follow.

This is literally Watergate on steroids. Or more precisely, a bunch of emasculated men running around trying to prove their manhood.

When will attacking women be treated as as a hate crime?

President Abe Lincoln was correct, the measure of a person isn’t how he or she will deal with adversity, but how they will behave once given power. Manners and respect seem to be forgotten when that sense of power and entitlement takes over.

So, we have a bunch of horny men working in Hollywood and this is new? Politics, corporate America, restaurants, banks, and gas stations, etc. is just a very small section of where harassment happens every day and every one, including women, just look the other way. Sexual harassment by employers has existed since the first bite of the apple. Every job I’ve had there has been some sort of sexual harassment, by bosses or fellow employees. After today, three Florida lawmakers will have resigned in just over six months over issues raised by news reporters. Our free press doing their job for the good of all people.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s former campaign manager, is blaming the FBI for not warning the campaign that Paul Manafort was under federal investigation. Sure, the FBI should always compromise their investigation by tipping off the subject. And remember when President Obama warned Trump about Michael Flynn? Yeah, that didn’t work out so good either.

Why are there so many pick up trucks in Indiana with Texas plates?

How in the world can gas prices go up in Chesterton over 45 cents in one day. If that isn’t considered gouging, I don’t know what is. It should even be illegal to go up that much in one day. Why aren’t the politicians checking into this. Oh I know, all they want to focus on is Trump and Russia.

The recent sports photo of the Andrean football players suggests that they were kneeling during the National Anthem. Do the sports editors think before they print something? The NFL problem should have prevented this photo from being printed.

On Monday morning while all major news networks had breaking news of the indictments of Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and George Papadopoulos, something odd was going on. Fox News was airing an ongoing conflict about cheese placement on cheeseburger emojis. When they say Fox News viewers are the most uninformed, they weren’t kidding.

How would closing one Gary High school affect the sports programs? West Side students would be in a higher class but without players coming into the system. Wirt does not have sports, so would West Side/Wirt no longer have sports? Does Wirt have practice facilities if they become a school with sports? Lots of unanswered questions.
