Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Congress is questioning the contract to restore power to Puerto Rico. Seriously? This has gone on for decades and they have used this practice to raise millions of dollars in campaign donations, become multimillionaires, and stay in office until they step down or die. What’s that saying about glass houses?

The fact is that corporations do not pay any taxes as they simply pass that on to us consumers. So, we are the ones who pay their taxes for them. You cannot legislate that out of the equation no matter how much you twist it. I say again that I don’t want to pay any more taxes than I already do but you are more than welcome to send all your money to the government if you wish. But don’t spend my money, I will do that myself, thank you.
Late Saturday, my car wouldn’t start after I left Pet Supplies Plus. I didn’t have a cell phone, credit card or money; just checks. So, I knew I would have to call a friend and leave my car until Monday. I went back in to PSP to ask to use their phone and one of the employees let me use her personal phone. A customer overheard my call and offered to give me a jump. As I was outside at my car with the hood up, another customer offered to give me a jump if I was still there when she came out. Turns out there was a loose cable on my battery, and the first gentleman fixed it. I want them to know that their kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated.

The well-kept secret is out. Most of us didn’t realize the depth of it. With so much south suburban political shenanigans coming to the surface, it seems safe to say that even local politics has become nothing but big business at taxpayer expense. They and their campaign contributing influential friends are the only ones getting more bang for the buck from our tax dollars and much more.
In response to the person who feels the liberal left obstructs everything President Donald Trump does: The liberal left is not degrading and destroying America. Your president is degrading and destroying America, all by himself.
