Indiana recently raised the state gas tax by 10 cents per gallon to help with costs of road maintenance. OK, that’s a good idea. But now it’s proposed to turn Indiana’s freeways into toll roads in order to generate additional tens of billions of dollars. It’s time for a new state motto. How about “Greed is Good”?
So first we get a wheel tax, then a raise in registration fees and an increase in the gas tax, and now the state GOP wants statewide tolling? How much is enough?
If we had sane, conservative fiscal hawks, as they claim to be, we would need to have a budget surplus before we started giving out tax cuts And even then, you might want to think about down some of the deficit first.
Paul Ryan and his tax return postcard crack me up. Does he not know that most tax returns are filed electronically? Someone better send him a telegram so he can stay informed.
The GOP will try to protect Trump. If they can’t save him, they will try to save Pence. Power is more important than integrity, honesty or serving all Americans. That seat in the Oval Office is the only thing that matters. These are not honest men.
Whatever the alleged tax cuts for the middle class would be under the GOP tax plan, and they are nothing more than “alleged,” they would be more than offset by massive cuts to both Medicare and Medicaid. Wake up, people. This plan is for GOP donors, not you.
Wouldn’t it be the ultimate irony if Hillary’s emails brought down the Trump’s presidency?
The clouds over Team Trump are darker than those above Team Hillary. Just saying.
Many employees at Fox News, including on-air staff,s are appalled at the station’s Trump bias and the special counsel Mueller bashing. They are embarrassed and lashing out at the network.
Most people want truth and justice. But others deal in mudslinging and misinformation and that has proved to be an incredible weapon for those with noses that can’t seem to smell what stinks.
The Mercer family, who bought this election for Trump, now want to back out a bit. Robert Mercer has sold his shares of Breitbart News to his daughters and has disavowed his backing to neo-Nazis. This only comes after Mueller’s investigation into Cambridge Analytica, his voter data firm with ties to Russian meddling.
Donald Trump gets more disgusting and unhinged every day. His tweets about Clinton, Warren and Sanders border on the criminal. And now he’s off to Asia to represent all of us. What a nightmare.
Trump has been president for almost 10 months and the do-nothing GOP Congress has not sent him one single piece of significant legislation to sign. And I’m not complaining. Or bitter. I’m actually happy.
