U.S. Steel dumped toxic chromium into Lake Michigan six months after a previous one, then asked state officials not to tell anyone. No worries, the EPA doesn’t care.

Always telling the truth and “the best of my recollections” are not the same thing.

Putin says “I didn’t do it.” Our President buys into the lie, gives him a pass, fluffs off a very real threat to our democracy and then blames our own judicial system. That’s making America great again?

The blind devotion of hardcore Trump followers, despite scandal, chaos and the evils of those like Roy Moore, gives one the feel of a religious cult. Facts don’t seem to matter. Christians should not be so easily deceived.

Trump sent out a canned message of sympathy for the shooting victims in California that was simply a reissuing of the one sent for the victims in Texas. Is anybody surprised? This man has no capacity for sympathy, shame, or any other normal human emotion. Well, except for anger and hatred.

Republicans are trying to take away health care and tax deductions from lower and middle class Americans while raising their tax rates. All of this so they can give corporations and the wealthy bigger tax breaks. Why does a normal citizen vote for this party? Oh yeah, god, guns, gays and abortion.

UCLA just announced that the three basketball players recently accused of theft in China were suspended indefinitely. Good. There was talk that everyone was afraid of suspending them for fear of angering Mr. Ball.

Glad to see that Trump’s bone spurs didn’t prevent him from going to Vietnam in his overseas trip this time.

Someone that wears a flag lapel pin, stands for the anthem and talks a lot about patriotism is not really a true patriot when they attack the US intelligence agencies and take the side of Russia over the US. This man is an embarrassment to America.

The NFL owners are more concerned about Jerry Jones feud with Roger Goodell’s salary than the (players) kneeling for the flag.

Vice President Mike Pence needs to reimburse the state of Indiana $14,000 that it cost our state to protect him for the few minutes of his political stunt at the Colts football game. Playing political games in order to push his agenda should not fall on Indiana taxpayers.

A couple of weeks after CEO John Schnatter blamed the NFL for sagging pizza sales, Papa John is trying to tone down the vitriol. The company has now apologized and said it supports players protests and denounced Neo-Nazis. This didn’t happen until their company stock fell 13 percent.

Our U.S. Border Patrol officers have to take a polygraph test before they can be hired. Why don’t our politicians have to?

Someone should give everyone in the Trump administration one of those memory courses. They all seem so disturbingly forgetful. I think that Trump University offers that course. I think that you get a case of free steaks if two sign up.

Trump lashes out at nearly everyone and everything on Twitter, on a daily basis. He hasn’t had much to say on Roy Moore though. I think that behavior hits a little too close to home.
