We have a budding genius in our midst: Fifteen-year-old Annie Ostojic, of Munster, was named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list. What an incredible honor for one of our own. Good luck, Annie! The sky is the limit.
Only in America could a billionaire make us pay for his golf weekends and tell us we can’t have food, health care, science or art.
If sports team owners want players to be apolitical, maybe owners should show them how it’s done by not making political donations.
Eighty-one reporters were killed doing their jobs this year, while violence and harassment against media workers has skyrocketed. Silencing our media has to stop. Silencing the media is their attempt at preventing the truth from being aired.
Trump’s version of the facts sounds like he reinvented the spoon by eating with his fingers.
In accusing the Department of Justice of being a part of the “deep state,” Donald Trump is essentially accusing them of being some sort of cabal operating in secret against the interests of the United States. In normal times, outrageous statements like this would be grounds for considering his removal from office. But, alarmingly, the constant drumbeat of borderline-insane comments like this from Trump has made all of us morally and politically numb. All of us, that is, except congressional Republicans, who either do nothing or add their support.

One thing for sure is that all Trump supporters have a clean brain with all the brain-washing tricks he is trying to use.
I voted for President Trump and I am a proud member of the NRA. The least of my worries are some hardcore liberal showing up at my door to take away my gun. You should print that one in the cartoon section and get ready for the next civil war. That’s funny!
With such a huge group of heartless politicians in Washington, the people are trying to communicate to (politicians) who only care what will eventually benefit themselves.
I often regret that I have spoken. Never that I have been silent.
Obama created 12 million jobs, brought the stock market to record highs, got Bin Laden, got 17 million health insurance and saved the American Auto Industry. But I vote Republican even though they haven’t done a thing for me in decades. Cause of guns, or something.
As long as the president of the United States refers to it’s citizens as haters and enemies, our country will not progress. This man is an utter disgrace.
