We were always taught to respect our elders, our selves and all others. This lack of respect that has taken over our society is hard to understand. From top to bottom, and all ages. People are beyond rude and seem to enjoy flaunting that behavior.

If there is a government shutdown, don’t kid yourself, it will be because of one thing: Trump’s stubborn insistence that we spend tens of billions of dollars to build that wall that he said Mexico was going to pay for.

I often wonder how weak you must feel to look at Donald Trump and see strength.

There has to be some incentive to make it easier to vote. One party is only interested in making it harder to vote, doing everything possible to make that happen. This is the only way their side can win. Think about that.

I thought that the plan was to send back the immigrant criminals, not the hard-working productive residents. Were they lying then or are they lying now?

When they start using “executive privilege” to refuse having to answer questions, they are admitting guilt.

A recent study says that 42 percent of Republicans believe that accurate but negative stories qualify as “fake news.”

This administration’s idea of diplomacy is to kick the hornet’s nest, then complain when the hornets come out.
