A woman suffered multiple gunshot wounds when a domestic incident unfolded inside a home in Cicero on Sunday, authorities said.
The woman, 33, was taken to Stroger Hospital in either serious or critical condition, said town spokesman Ray Hanania.
A possible shooter was in custody, Hanania said.
The shooting happened in a home at South 58th Avenue and 22nd Place. The time of the shooting was not immediately clear.
“There was a domestic incident involving a couple and a gun …” Hanania said in a news release.
‘There is NO DANGER to neighbors or the community near the home.”
