A masked man broke into a salon and spa early Sunday on the North Side and stole a cash box, Chicago police said.
The thief used a crowbar to break the front window of the salon around 12:40 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Clybourn Avenue in the Lathrop Homes neighborhood, police said.
The man then stole a cash box with an unspecified amount of cash.
No one was in custody.
