Police released a picture of a pickup truck that was involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured an off-duty Office of Emergency Management and Communications dispatcher Thursday night on the Far Southwest Side.

It happened about 10:40 p.m. in the 3300 block of West 111th Street in the city’s Mount Greenwood neighborhood, according to Chicago police.

The city worker was westbound on 111th Street on a motorcycle when a black Ford 150 pickup with tan side panels took a left turn at Christiana Avenue, cutting him off, and crashed into him, police said.

The pickup, which sustained “extensive” damage to its passenger-side, fled west after the incident.

The worker was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in serious condition.

Police released a picture of a pickup similar to the one they are seeking in the hit-and-run.

Anyone with information should contact the Major Accident Investigations Unit, 312-745-4521.
