Listen up, people — gun reform, in all honesty, is not going to hurt any normal, honest gun owner. The only people that should be afraid of gun reform is felons, gangs and people that buy and sell guns illegally. What camp do you belong to?

Just a reminder, we all complain way too much about all of our politicians. We complain that they don’t care and don’t listen. Recently, I wrote a letter to Senator Joe Donnelly with my concerns about current state and national issues. I received a personal letter back with every question addressed, in full detail. I was quite impressed.

Hey farmers, aren’t you happy that you voted for Trump now? With his tariffs, China is now buying their soybeans from Russia instead of the USA.

I think I finally found something that the Trump Administration is doingthat I can agree with. Best way to stop illegal immigration is to putpressure on employers that knowingly hire illegals. Apparently increased pressure is being put on businesses by way of fines and/or jail time for hiring illegals. Don’t need a wall; just enforce the law.

The Trump administration is creating a whole new swamp in Washington. Regulations and legislation are up for bid to corporate interests. Not to mention his family lining their pockets at taxpayer expense.

Both Republicans and Democrats have come together to to introduce a resolution calling for an apology from the White House to Senator John McCain for a staffer’s crude remark. Pretty sad that they have to resort to a resolution, that nobody in charge would know that this needed to be done without being pressured.

Just a friendly reminder that Memorial Day isn’t national BBQ day or save a extra 15 percent day.

Never in our history have 40 percent of Americans gotten their news from Breitbart, Fox, Sinclair and Alex Jones. Which is basically state-run information. Our democracy is at stake. People are just too blind to see it.

The 1 percent grabbed 82 percent of all of the wealth created in 2017, and are enjoying the majority of the latest tax cuts. Can we stop pretending that it’s Social Security, welfare, and teachers who want a living wage that are wrecking our economy?

We don’t have our traditional government in place in Washington. We have the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Reality Show. Who is going to be the most shocking this week?

Everyone agrees that we need to spend more on our military. If Mexico would enforced their immigration laws, that would free up $360 billion per year that could be spent on our military and social programs. We would be safer and many citizens would be given back their honor and dignity of having of job.

It is high time to apply spending limits to elections. Both parties should agree to this. Take the control out of the hands of billionaires who treat this as a sport.
