A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a missing Hammond man.
The Hammond Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Romulo Najera, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds with gray hair with brown eyes. Najera was last seen wearing a camouflage hat, white button up shirt, blue jeans and black shoes, police said.
Najera was last seen at 9 a.m. Tuesday, a release said. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance, the release said.
