About 13% of Americans say they regularly or occasionally use marijuana, according to the latest Gallup poll. A new analysis of the U.S. cannabis market, both legal and illegal, finds that while young men make up the biggest segment of users, women, baby boomers and the elderly are the fastest growing groups. That information comes from the Cannabis Consumer Report by New Frontier Data. It is based on $5 billion in legal sales since 2015, and a survey of more than 3,000 self-described cannabis users. The report breaks down the market into the following profiles:
