A small personal airplane made an emergency landing Sunday afternoon at the Glen Club Golf Course, according to Glenview police.
No one was injured and there was no damage to the plane, Glenview Police Department spokesman Sgt. Jim Foley said in an email to the Glenview Announcement.
An instructor pilot and their student were operating the plane when it ran out of gas on the way to the Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling. They landed the plane on the 13th fairway of the golf course, according to Foley.
