At the Friday afternoon briefing on the coronavirus, Mike Pence’s toadyism was on full display. If we were dealing with two normal people, Pence would be embarrassed to say the things he says, and Trump would be embarrassed to hear them. But of course Pence has no pride left, and his obsequiousness is music to Trump’s ears.
I hope the president uses the Stafford Act to shut down the election in November to teach these loud mouth Trump haters a good lesson on how to treat people. That’s what real karma looks like and he has the power to make it happen. There’s more than one way to shut a hater up and they would have four more years to comb the dictionary for new words to call his supporters.
Donald Trump is claiming, without any facts to back up his theory, that Barack Obama’s actions in the past are hindering the CDC today. More lies. It won’t be long before Donald claims the coronavirus was created by scientists hired by Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer to help him lose the election. Alex Jones would probably float the theory for him but he’s busy fighting a DWI charge.
Like everything in his life, Trump is winging it through this virus. He deserves to fall from grace. He has no clue about the gravity of this situation. It is too late to recover now.
Americans have now seen the con man behind the curtain. The president, enraged for having been unmasked, will become even more desperate, more unhinged. His administration may stagger on, for a bit, but the Trump presidency is over.
U.S. public schools: We can’t close because millions of kids can’t eat. U.S. hospitals: we’re understaffed and don’t have tests. U.S. workforce: We have no sick leave or health insurance. U.S. stores: We have no toilet paper. U.S. government: Wall Street had a rough one, we are giving them $1.5 trillion in free money.
At Davos, there was a WHO expert at the coronavirus forum, which Trump didn’t bother to attend, neither did Mnuchin, or Ivanka or Jared, because why bother? They were too busy being on a paid vacation.
There are dire consequences for Trump remaining in the White House. He is impaired, delusional and exhibiting psychosis like behavior. Talking about things like “perfect tests and perfects calls.” He’s functionally insane and he is endangering America. It will just get worse and his removal is imperative.
Things are getting serious when Tucker Carlson is pushing back against coronavirus coverage from those who have spent weeks minimizing what is clearly a very serious problem. “It’s definitely not just the flu.”
Just in case there was any doubt, we are in deep, deep, trouble here folks.
Here we have our dedicated president busting his hump to eradicate this new virus and the Democrats focus on political gains from the tragedy by blocking every move the president makes and politically posturing the virus for the November elections. Is this how we won WWII? No we put politics aside and collectively worked to resolve this problem sprung upon our nation. Democrats are pathetic! It’s my way of the highway is all they know.
