We’re only checking people who are sick. Shouldn’t we also be looking for people who have had COVID-19 and didn’t get sick? They may point to something that could prevent or mitigate the virus.

Why are we spending money to bail out the cruise lines and airlines? That money should be spent on fighting the virus.

I work in an area emergency room in close contact with sick people, including COVID-19 patients. I just realized that Indiana likely would not require my employer to cover me for worker’s comp when I inevitably get sick and have to be quarantined. That means I get to make a choice: report it and go broke and maybe lose my house, or say nothing and go to work sick. Guess what most healthcare workers will do. There’s a way to fix this: contact your state representatives and the governor and tell them to cover healthcare workers under worker’s comp for COVID-19. Lives depend on it.

Our nation could not have picked a worse time in history to elect an isolationist president. Only an all-hands-on global team can dig us out of this world crisis. It’s hard for all those peoples, nations and ethnicities who President Trump has insulted over the past three years, and the world agencies from which he’s withdrawn, to now see him as an inspirational leader of the free world for this crisis moment.

Trump says we have to give millions in bailouts to the airlines, hotels and cruise lines. Sure Donny like we will be flying, taking cruises or staying in hotels. What about the people not big business? We can’t leave the house to do any of that you orange raccoon!

If Trump had acted sooner, we would not be in this mess with the virus. The man caused the delay and the problem is his fault. Remember that if we can still vote in November.

When can we expect the Impeached Incredibly Stable Genius with the Great and Unmatched Wisdom to get out that famous Sharpie & start making ‘corrected’ maps to illustrate how safe we are from the pandemic?

The Quickly commentator should not be infuriated that people are putting their faith in God and especially during these trying times. Yes, we all should be following the CDC guidelines and the expert advice coming from our doctors and other skilled health officials. The Bible tells us to follow the good laws (Romans, chapter 13, vs., 1-2), respect others, support the less fortunate and to always think upon those things which are true, honest, just, lovely and of good report (Philippians, chapter 4, vs. 8). I suspect that we would have fewer troubling times if we all followed the instruction within the Bible.

Trump just can’t help himself. At a briefing on Tuesday he tried to strike a more “conciliatory” stance, but soon returned to his usual behavior, derisively blaming others for his own mistakes and condemning the “failed” New York Times for telling the truth about our delayed response to this pandemic. And maddeningly, he does all this while patting himself on the back for “doing a tremendous job.”

An expert in the field has said the U.S. is three to six weeks behind the rest of the world in dealing with the virus. It wasn’t a liberal who used that time to proclaim the Coronavirus was a HOAX, started by the DEMOCRATS, with the help of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. It was Donald Trump holding rallies and telling everybody that everything is fine, no worries. Now that reality has set in, he’s sure changed his tune. But Republicans also are contracting the COVID-19, so you might be right about the Karma theory.

Is it the Deep State, the Democrats, or just the usual worldwide conspiracy that is crashing the stock market, just to make Captain Sharpie, the Impeached Incredibly Stable Genius with the Great and Unmatched Wisdom, look bad? Or maybe it’s just Iran…

President put a travel ban from China January 31. Way ahead of the curve and he was criticized and called racist. If Hillary or Obama were president, we would all be dead.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Richard Burr warned a group of well-connected constituents three weeks ago to prepare for dire economic and societal effects of the coronavirus, that was obtained by a NPR recording. So some in the GOP had fully grasped how serious this would be, but refused to say so publicly, putting American lives at risk.

Since the commenter is so certain that the president was so unprepared and doing such a terrible job with the Coronavirus, then please tell us where he went wrong and how your knowledge can get us prepared for the next virus that comes our way. Call the CDC and share your thoughts with them so we can get ready next time, lives depend on you. Don’t let us down !
