I really feel sorry for these high school seniors that will miss out on their graduation and their prom, and other festivities. These are the once in a lifetime events that can’t be redone. It’s not the end of the world, just very sad.

Senators Elizabeth Warren and Richard Blumenthal have demanded that the country’s largest medical equipment providers shed light on the White House’s role in distributing live-saving supplies during the pandemic. Jared Kushner has overseen this project and has refused to provide any details. FEMA, also has refused to provide details. That makes it sound like something underhanded is going on.
It appears that scientists at Oxford University in England are out in front in the effort to develop a coronavirus vaccine and plan to administer it to 6,000 people by the end of May. Of course even if it turns out to be a huge success, Trump will probably prohibit its use in the United States, because it’s being developed in “a foreign country.”
These coronavirus press briefings are so monotonous. Everyone that speaks, including the Vice President, is forced to thank the president for the incredible job he has done on the COVID-19. If that were true, we would not have over 57,000 people dead, and millions still waiting to be tested.
So when you promised 4 million tests weeks ago, you were just talking about tests being sent out, not completed? VP Pence: “Precisely correct.”
President Trump is forcing 1,000 West Point cadets to come back to campus for graduation, just so that he has the opportunity to speak. They have all left for home due to the coronavirus, and now must take that risk to satisfy Trump’s ego. Their family members will not be there, it will be an empty stadium, used as a campaign stunt.
When the president was told that states have reported an increase in people taking disinfectant since his comment last week, he said “I can’t imagine why.’ Asked if he takes any responsibility, he says “No, I don’t.”
One of the leaders demanding an end to the North Carolina coronavirus state lockdown restrictions and leading the protests has now verified that she has now tested positive for the virus.
I love reading Quickly to see how truly uninformed the Trump-haters are. You can tell which ones never stray far (if at all) from CNN and MSNBC!

Why would someone use the Obama administration to make a point about people eating Tide Pods? Politics to Americans is like water is to a fish. In politics, however, reasoning, for many, is for social cohesion instead of truth-seeking. As a result, we will go to any length to defend, deny, insinuate or denigrate in support of our alliance. We will even make a weak attempt at an apple an orange comparison about Obama and Trump. The comments have only served to motivate more “liberal” writers to submit articles to Quickly. Please, don’t blame Quickly!
I don’t really care if they open the hair salons and the tattoo parlors in my state. I am staying home until the hospitals permit visitors again. That is one way that I know that the scientists and not the politicians are calling the shots.
