Former President George W. Bush has released a video calling for Americans to put aside partisanship in the fight against COVID-19. And how did Trump respond? Did he thank the former president for his heartfelt plea for unity? Not a bit of it. He attacked Bush for failing to offer partisan support for him during his impeachment and trial. It’s the same old sad story. It’s not about people being sick and dying. It’s all about Trump, Trump, Trump.

Two young people at work were telling us that they are working so they can to pay other people to take their college courses online. Some one else is doing the college work for them and they are getting the credit. College cheating has always been around but these online classes are the new way to get a education and not go to school.

Trump says people protesting carrying guns and waving Confederate flags without masks are very good people. Just like he did with the Charlottesville people carrying Nazi banners that ran down and killed a protester. There are not good people on both sides. Everyday he shows us his lack of character and leadership and yet people still support him.

President Trump held a town hall meeting. It was one of those frequent nights when it was hard to keep up with the pace of his dishonesty.

There is no political discussion anymore. There is no debate on policy with Republicans. They will not debate in fact, logic or compassion. As soon as you don’t agree with Trump, you are demonized. He is all that matters to them.

America is in a sad state when we can not expect the president to tell us the truth even when it comes to our health and safety.

What’s wrong with this picture? Trump is urging businesses to open and Americans to get back to work and risk infection even in places that don’t come close to meeting his own guidelines. At the same time, his lawyers continue to argue for the total repeal of the Affordable Care Act, which could strip as many as 35 million Americans of their health insurance and leave them uncovered for the disease to which Trump wants to expose them. It’s insane, yes.

Trump has now started attacking George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan. The Republicans are silent and spineless, because there is no Republican Party any longer, just cult followers.
