This coronavirus has shown us how spoiled people are. Most people have never weathered any kind of hardship. They want to go out to eat, work out, make coffee runs, and get after work drinks every day. Sacrifice is a foreign word. Clean your own house and yard and cook your own food for a change.
The unemployment rate in Obama’s last month in office was 4.7%. The unemployment rate today after Trump’s many mistakes, and rising is 14.7%. Are we better off today, than we were 4 years ago? Nope.
The ultimate stupidity is having cars lined up waiting for emissions testing in Valparaiso during a pandemic when thousands of uninspected cars travel through here every day. More government in action. Let us hire a few politicians with active brain cells for a change.
On Tuesday the Supreme Court is hearing arguments on three separate cases for releasing President Trump’s financial records for various lawsuits and Congressional hearings. For a man who vehemently screams that he is always innocent, he goes to extreme measures to keep all records and witnesses from the light of day.
Tell me again what a spectacular job that you are doing. More than 70 days were wasted getting a head start. An estimated 33.5 million unemployed. And almost 82,000 dead. How does that translate to doing a spectacular job?

A customer at the Valparaiso Schoop’s Restaurant chose to take her 17-year-old daughter there to dine in for lunch on Tuesday. A dubious choice, in my opinion. I am appalled by her comments! Quote: “My business is considered ‘essential’. We work with seniors, so we wanted to make sure we weren’t spreading anything to them and carry on the best we can”. HUH?!
So now, after there is a big infection in the White House, they are trying to close the barn doors. Well because, everything that they have done has been a complete failure. This is no different.
This sore loser movement has been with us for over three and a half years now and saturates the daily comments in Quickly. Isn’t it time to drop the past election and focus on the new one coming up in November? It is getting monotonous and at least we can get a fresh start for the next election! Who knows the outcome? We may be having to listen to the Republicans whine about losing to a Democrat? Might be a relief!
It’s a different atmosphere in the White House, now that the virus has found its way inside. People wearing masks, social distancing, self quarantining. A far cry from the ”everything’s fine” message of a few weeks ago. The Republican elites have state of the art medical care at their fingertips, but people living in the real world are expected to go back on the job and take their chances. Does anyone think that the average citizen will receive the same medical care as Trump, Pence, or any of the Republican elite?
There is no such thing as “Obamagate.” Trump and his team are desperate to find something to be able to take Joe Biden down with, and their only hope is to attack Obama, and his administration, which Biden was part of. Even Senate Republicans want no part of that.
Isn’t it odd that Trump says we have to be warriors against the virus and return to work? Meanwhile the virus is running rampant throughout his administration. Maybe if he put a mask on and kept his distance he would lead by example. He wont though because he can only lead in the most infected and the most dead than any other country in the world.
Another daily briefing, and another day insulting anyone who asks a legitimate question. Why would anyone allow this baby-man to bully these reporters every day?
