Suspicious timing: Just wondering if there may be a future connection to the fact that the president has just replaced the postmaster of the U.S. Postal Service with one of his rich political donors. The connection being, most people will be voting by mail in November. Coincidence? Noooo … couldn’t possibly be any mail-tampering going on in the elections.
Masks protect others: This is a shout-out to the lady who was in Meijer grocery shopping with her three children on Monday. Even after management suggested she put on face masks, she kept on shopping and didn’t have one. It’s not for her protection. It’s for the protection of the rest of us. I think she should wise up and think about protecting herself. Maybe they had the virus before, and all four of them are healthy. The rest of us aren’t.
What a woman: Eighty-seven-year-old Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg announced more cancer has been found beside the cancer she already has but vows to work as long as she is able. What a tribute she is to America’s greatest generation.
Leave anthem alone: They want to take “The Star-Spangled Banner” out of sports and replace it with “Lean on Me.” Who are you going to lean on? Black Live Matter? Are you going to lean on Antifa? Or maybe all the terrorists on the streets looting. They are laughing at you as they break the law and don’t get punished.
Mocking the rules: Just like her father, Ivanka Trump is making a mockery of America. She tweeted about Goya. We all know she’s a government official and she is not supposed to endorse anything. They will sweep it under the rug. Nothing will happen.
Justice not equal: A white man dies in Oklahoma due to police. He was Tased and Tased by the police. He ended up with cardiac arrest, and died two days later. When I found out he died, I told my wife, “Let’s see just how quickly this young white man gets justice.” It was within two days that the officers were charged. You wonder why black people are upset. There has never been one of these black men killed where the officer immediately goes to jail. Just think about it. I’m not being racist. Just look at the situation.
