Graham was spot on
Compliments to Lindsey Graham for a quote dated May 3, 2016: “If we nominate Trump, we’ll get destroyed and we’ll deserve it.” OK. People are jumping ship from the Trump organization as if they’re on the Titanic.
Sell the Bears
Because of the Bears anemic offensive performance, instead of reporting the total number of yards, why don’t they report the total number of inches? The larger number in inches would look better in print. But realistically, the McCaskeys should sell the team. They are not George Halas, and as long as they own the team, at best they will be mediocre. For instance, how many quarterbacks have they hired since Mike Ditka was coach?
Open bars
Mr. Cunningham, I’ve noticed that there’s been bars open in the evening hours with more than five people. What’s going on mayor? Shame on you.
Get priorities straight
In reference to shoveling your sidewalks, snow melts but COVID does not. Get your priorities straight.
Treason
The attack on the Capitol building should be called what it is — treason. Anyone involved, from the president down, should be arrested and charged as traitors to this country. This type of behavior only happens in Third World countries, not in America, and we are being threatened with more attacks to come.
Moving out
This country should be ashamed. Ashamed of themselves to be called the great United States of America. I’ve never seen a president being so mistreated. Worse than a dog. He’s not, people. This man is still a human being, and everyone that goes to church should be ashamed of themselves. I’m angry and disgusted by our whole United States at this point. I hope I get the opportunity to move out.
Party of law and order
The Republican Party is supposed to be the party of law and order. That is an absolute fantasy, obviously. That is crazy.
To hell in a hand basket
I’d like to comment “Elect moderates.” Very well-written and spoken. There actually is an intelligent person in this area, instead of reading this junk that looks like it was written by a third-grader. And respect the glory days? Honey, we haven’t seen the glory days since Ronald Reagan. You call Obama the glory days? I was scared to death every day. These are your glory days again? Six months. You won’t admit it. But in your heart and soul, you’re going to wish Donald Trump was back in that White House. You’ll never admit, but you will. This country’s going to go to hell in a hand basket. Good luck.
Sitting on their hands
Those Republicans that voted against the resolution in the House essentially are in favor of doing nothing, and sitting on their hands until Trump’s term runs out.
