Watch Guard founders FX Nozakhere, left, and Marquinn McDonald patrol in the Bronzeville neighborhood on Aug. 4, 2021. The two men formed the volunteer organization in May 2020 to assist neighbors and deter violent street crimes, such as carjackings, by being visible at gas stations and shopping areas.
