Robbins police are investigating the death of a teenager police say was shot about 15 times last week.
Police were called to the 3200 block of Emery Lane at about 11 p.m. Thursday for a report of shots fired and found the male teenager in a driveway, Deputy Chief Byron Redmond said.
Redmond said there were no witnesses to the shooting. Police did recover a handgun on the victim, Redmond said. The Cook County sheriff’s office also is investigating the shooting, Redmond said.
Police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call the department at 708-385-8131.
