NRA freaks, Second Amendment zealots, and just about all Republicans and right wing nut jobs, is Kyle Rittenhouse really and truly who you want as your new poster boy? Although admittedly, the image of Rittenhouse blubbering on the stand is a suitable look for you.

Fact-checking is very important. During the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, he claimed that the Grayslake (Illinois) Police Department gave him a bulletproof vest for participating in their Cadet Program. Police Chief Jeff Myra said that his department has never issued or paid for any protective vests for the cadet program. Rittenhouse also stated under oath that he is a nursing student at Arizona State University. A spokesperson from the university said that Rittenhouse “has not gone through the admission process with Arizona State University and is not enrolled in the Edson College of Nursing and Health.” Instead, he started a non-degree seeking online program October 13, less than three weeks before the trial began. Lies and deception tells you a lot about a person.

If you arrive armed to a place where violence is happening, prepared for violence, and you engage in violence, there is no self-defense, you are in fact a willing combatant. If you do this without being sanctioned by a government outside a combat zone, you are also, in fact, a terrorist. Armed civilians operating outside the military are known as insurgents. If your recourse to the terrorist is to lookup the criminal history of the victims, it is no different than looking up the criminal past of everyone that died on 9/11 in order to justify the hijackers.

Nobody drives into a city with guns because they love someone else’s business that much. That is just nonsense. No one has ever thought “Oh, it is my solemn duty to pick up a rifle and protect that TJ Maxx.” They do it because they’re hoping to shoot someone.

I find it really interesting that Donald Trump is trying to prevent the release of all documents surrounding his planning, paying for and participation of the insurrection at the Capitol. He claims any release of those documents will cause him irreparable damage, but our entire country has been under siege literally on a daily basis, by self-proclaimed vigilantes and domestic terrorists who are attacking other Americans, simply because the candidate they wanted lost the election.

Remember during Benghazi when President Obama claimed executive privilege and went to court and refused to let anyone talk to investigators? Of course you don’t. President Obama handed over ever document. And Hillary Clinton sat for 11 hours straight, because they had nothing to hide, like these whiny, man-babies we are watching now trying to prevent their documents from being released.

I wonder if the folks complaining about the infrastructure bill also complained about the tax cut to the wealthy that decreased tax revenue by over a trillion dollars?

Trump and other Republicans, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, are calling Republicans who support Biden’s infrastructure plan traitors. Some have even received threats from hot-headed Trump supporters. What’s traitorous about investing in our nation’s infrastructure? It’s like having clean water and sound roads and bridges is a bad thing. Trump had four years to do something about our crumbling infrastructure and did nothing. Between this inaction and their stolen election crusade, it’s clear that Republicans are the traitors to this country.

The Trump troll keeps complaining that people don’t post enough President Biden positive news. Good news is boring and corruption makes for better headlines and drives the news cycle.

I keep hoping that Donald Trump will come riding up on his white horse and clean up this mess created by Joe Biden.

Sean Parnell is running for the Senate in Pennsylvania. Court records show that he strangled his wife and left welts on his kids, leading to orders of protection. Republicans are backing him, and this does not seem to be a problem, but a selling point. After all, this party voted against the Violence Against Women Act. Misogyny is not a bug of the GOP, it’s a feature.

How is it possible in the United States to be living just above the poverty level and in my late 70s and paying over $200 per month in property taxes and unable to afford to have my roof re-shingled? This is what living in a Republican states does for you.
