An Aurora home is uninhabitable after a Sunday morning fire, Aurora Fire Department officials said.
Firefighters responded to a two-story multi-family home with heavy fire showing from the front of the building around 1:55 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of South LaSalle Street.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Crews deployed hose lines while firefighters began searching the building, officials said. The fire was under control within 20 minutes.
The home was declared uninhabitable after the fire, displacing one adult and one child. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
