Waubonsee Community College will be offering two walk-in COVID-19 vaccination and booster clinics which will be open to the community on Dec. 8 and 9.

The clinics will offer staff, students and community members the option to choose between receiving the first or second Pfizer shot, a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or a booster shot, Waubonsee officials said in a press release.

No appointments, registration or insurance is required to attend the clinics, officials said.

The Pfizer vaccine is for individuals 12 years old and over. Parents or guardians need to accompany anyone under the age of 18 who attends the clinics to receive a vaccine. Waubonsee is unable to offer the vaccine to children 5 to 11 years old at this time, according to the release.

The clinics are set for 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Student Center Cafe on Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove campus, and from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, in the conference room at Waubonsee’s Aurora downtown campus.
