Naper Settlement will host several upcoming volunteer training sessions.
Parents of children in 4th to 7th grades can learn about the History Squad program in a virtual training session at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 via Zoom or an in-person training session at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St.
The History Squad volunteers engage with visitors by playing historic games and demonstrating chores and other activities of the 1800s. Parents whose children are interested in being a volunteer only need to attend one of the History Squad meetings.
