Airlines to bring job training programs to Chicago as they search for more mechanics

American Airlines and United Airlines, which both operate major hubs at O’Hare International Airport, are now creating programs geared toward aspiring mechanics to address a hiring need for airplane mechanics. American Airlines now has a partnership with the Aviation Institute of Maintenance.
