Art and Market Aurora will be back at Society 57 in downtown Aurora for three dates during the holiday season starting Saturday.
The Aurora Downtown group’s indoor market will feature several local vendors at Society 57, 100 S. River St.
The market will be open with both food and artisan vendors for holiday shopping from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and also on Dec. 10 and 17. The market is free to enter.
“We’re excited to see the market grow. The market is now becoming a spring and fall staple, and it helps support local makers including some of our own downtown businesses,” said Marissa Amoni, manager of Aurora Downtown.
Art and Market Aurora will feature artisan gifts, candles, cookies, jewelry, baked goods, body oils and more, organizers said. Each market will include about two dozen vendors. In total, the markets will offer a curated selection of 60 local vendors.
Visiting vendors will include Aroma Roots, Biscocho’s, Sara’s Custom Cookies, Tendaji Body Oils, Crystal Ship Jewelry, Treasures from Trees, Nide Jardin and several local artisans, according to organizers. A local nonprofit organization joins the lineup at each market.
Aurora Downtown will sell downtown merchandise including postcards, T-shirts and hoodies at the welcome table at the event. On Saturday, a guaranteed number of mugs and buttons for Aurora Downtown’s Cocoa Crawl event set for 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 2 will be available for sale until they sell out.
Society 57 will feature Modest Coffee, Katic Breads and their full menu inside the coffee shop.
