So Donald Trump’s announcement that he’s running again for president is not about running again for president. The man is simply running away from three grand jury investigations, two federal and one state. Has absolutely nothing to do with wanting to help anyone in this country other than himself. Trying to run but you can’t hide. Oh yeah, and maybe make a few bucks while you’re at it. Good luck with that. And thank God for all of you who voted for non-MAGA Trump candidates this election.

Keep up the good work Ted Slowik and Donna Vickroy.

SH from Park Forest wonders why people with electric cars can’t just find a charging station rather than have it at home and gasoline cars are refueled at a station. Well, if everyone had a gasoline tank at home, how would that work? Above ground or in-ground tank? Could it be a little dangerous and haphazard having fuel tankers driving on side streets to deliver fuel? Would you trust your neighbors with hundreds of gallons of gas? As for finding a charging station, there are very few, no infrastructure yet, and with today’s technology it takes hours to recharge rather than minutes to refuel with gas.

Joe Biden, my favorite Democrat, is threatening Twitter with the Federal Trade Commission now that Elon Musk is not running Twitter correctly. Where was he for the last two years when they were censoring nothing but Republican and right-wing conservative views. If anybody out there doesn’t believe that this administration is the crookedest, nastiest, most disgusting administration in modern history, you are a moron.

The mailing of the tax bills was conveniently withheld until after the election. I think I will conveniently follow this example and pay after the next election.

As of this writing, although the House majority is still undetermined. One thing is crystal clear. For maybe the first time in U.S. election history, voters chose democracy and decency over everything else; and the country will ultimately be much better off for it. Congrats to all Democrats!
