Attempt armed robbery
Robert Solomon, 26, of the first block of South Mayfield Avenue, Chicago, on Feb. 20 was charged with attempted armed robbery and aggravated assault following incidents in the 100 block of Madison Street
Aggravated battery
Mark Griffith, 47, of the 3300 block of West Maypole Avenue, Chicago, on Feb. 20 was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer and a nurse at Rush Oak Park Hospital, 520 S. Maple Ave.
Aggravated domestic battery
Leila Benbrahim, 24, of the 1000 block of North Hayes Avenue, on Feb.16 was charged with aggravated domestic battery.
Criminal trespass to property
Javonte Fox, 28, of the 900 block of Clarence Avenue, Oak Park, on Feb. 16 was charged with criminal trespass to property in the 1100 block of Lake Street.
Outstanding warrant
Jorge Hernandez-Griff, 23, of the 3400 block of South 51st Avenue, Cicero, on Feb. 20 was arrested on an outstanding Oak Park warrant for obstructing/resisting arrest.
Burglary
Sunglasses were reported stolen Feb. 21 from an unlocked 2014 Mercedes Sprinter work van parked in the 800 block of North Linden Avenue. Estimated loss was $200.
Two cases containing Denon SC 6000 turntables were reported stolen Feb. 17 from a 2013 Ford F150 parked in the 400 block of South Lombard Avenue. Estimated loss was $3,200.
Designer sunglasses, heels and cash were reported stolen Feb. 15 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 900 block of Ontario Street. Estimated loss was $2,112.
A Colt World War II commemorative blue steel .45 caliber handgun was reported stolen Feb. 17 from the bedroom of a home in the 1100 block of North Kenilworth Avenue.
Criminal damage to property
All four tires were reported punctured Feb. 17 on a 2015 Toyota Corolla parked in the 100 block of South Maple Avenue. Estimated damage was $600.
The driver’s side window was reported broken Feb. 16 on a 2013 Hyundai Sonata parked in the 6200 block of North Avenue. Estimated damage/loss was $100.
Theft
A 2012 Hyundai Elantra was reported stolen Feb. 22 from the 300 block of South Maple Avenue. Estimated loss was $8,000.
A 2017 Hyundai Sonata was reported stolen Feb. 22 from the 800 block of South Boulevard. Estimated loss was $20,000.
A 2013 Kia Optima reported stolen on Feb. 17 was reported recovered Feb. 21 in the 6400 block of West Wabansia Avenue by Chicago police.
A 2021 Nissan Versa reported stolen Feb. 20 was reported recovered Feb. 21 in the 1200 block of South Ashland Avenue by Chicago police.
A 2020 Jeep Cherokee reported stolen Feb. 10 from the 700 block of Garfield Street, Oak Park, was reported recovered Feb. 20 from the 700 block of Independence Street by Chicago police.
A 2018 Honda CRV reported stolen on Jan. 7 from Enterprise Car Rental, 25 Chicago Ave., was reported recovered Feb. 20 in the 9500 block of Michigan Avenue by the IL State Police.
A 2021 Nissan Versa was reported stolen Feb. 20 from the 1000 block of North Boulevard. Estimated loss was $16,124.
A 2013 Kia Optima was reported stole Feb. 16 from the 6200 block of North Avenue. Estimated loss was $10,500.
A Toyota RAV-4 reported stolen Feb. 14 from the 900 block of Lake Street was reported recovered Feb. 16 from the 4700 block of Flournoy Avenue by Chicago police.
The catalytic converter was reported stolen Feb. 21 from a 2009 Honda CRV parked in a lot at West Suburban Hospital, 3 Erie Ct.
A package containing a board game was reported stolen Feb. 11 from the 500 block of Woodbine Avenue. Estimated loss was $30.
A backpack containing a vehicle key fob, inhaler and medication was reported stolen Feb. 19 from the 400 block of Lake Street. Estimated loss was $510.
Cash was reported stolen Feb. 17 from the hands of a victim in the 1100 block of Lake Street. Estimated loss was $62.
