Criminal damage
A 2004 Hyundai parked on the 100 block of Northwest Highway sustained damage to its rear windshield May 18, police said.
City of Park Ridge garbage cans were found destroyed at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Main Street May 20, police said.
Theft
A victim stated May 19 that multiple checks of his had been taken and used without his knowledge at a nursing home on the 1600 block of North Western Avenue after staff had secured his belongings, police said.
Two unknown subjects in a black Jeep appeared on video footage stealing a 2022 Infinity Q50 from a bank parking lot on the 400 block of Devon Avenue May 23, police said. One subject was seen using some type of tool to gain entry to the vehicle.
Suspicious person
An unknown subject appeared on surveillance camera footage May 25 checking the door handles to a car parked on the 1400 block of Brophy Avenue, police said.
Illegal dumping
An unknown subject dumped various landscape waste on a piece of property on the 0-100 block of Granville Avenue May 13, police said.
Attempted theft
An unknown subject broke the front window of a 2013 Kia Sportage parked on the 1700 block of Dempster Street and damaged the ignition in an apparent attempted vehicle theft May 22, police said.

Traffic violations
Jorge Hernandez-Chavez, 30, of the 1700 block of Ash Street, Des Plaines, was arrested May 22 for speeding up to 20 mph over the posted speed limit at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Dempster Street, police said.
Jose Lopez Resendez, 31, of the 4000 block of North Osceola Avenue, Chicago, was arrested May 24 for speeding 26-34 mph over the posted speed limit, police said.
Christine Oh, 48, of the 4500 block of Touhy Avenue, Lincolnwood, was arrested May 25 for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper traffic lane use, obstructing the driver’s view and failing to carry or display a driver’s license, police said.
Jesus Diaz, 41, of the 3400 block of Melrose Street, Chicago, was arrested May 24 for improper use of a turn signal, speeding 15-20 mph over the posted speed limit, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license at the intersection of Dempster Street and Potter Road, police said.
OOP violation
Brett Friel, 24, of the 1100 block of South Delphia Avenue, Park Ridge, was arrested May 25 for violating an order of protection on the 1200 block of Knight Avenue, police said.
Battery
David Dzik, 26, of the 7600 block of Oleander Avenue, Niles, was arrested May 23 at the Park Ridge Police station for two counts of battery, police said.
Public indecency
Benjamin Catt, 32, of the 3700 block of County Road, Kokomo, Ind., was arrested May 22 at the Park Ridge Police Station for public indecency, police said.
Disorderly conduct
Michael Levin, 64, of the 2600 block of Dempster Street, Park Ridge, was arrested May 22 at the Park Ridge Police Station for disorderly conduct, police said.
