A 5-year-old girl who was missing since Feb. 12 from the Austin neighborhood has been located, police said Friday morning.

Terianna Miller had been missing since mid-February after she was picked up from school by her biological mother without her grandmother’s consent in the Austin neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Terianna Miller was last seen by her custodial grandmother Feb. 12 when she dropped her off at school in the 500 block of Lavergne Avenue, police said.

Officials said Terianna was abducted by her biological mother when she picked her up from school without her grandmother’s consent.

Police said the mother was refusing to return the girl and stopped taking the girl to school. The whereabouts of the girl and her mother were unknown, police said.

The girl was last seen wearing a school uniform of a light blue polo shirt with dark blue pants. She was described by police as Black with a medium brown complexion with black hair and brown eyes. She is 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 40 pounds, police said.

The police said on Friday morning that the girl was located, but no additional information was provided.
