Singer-songwriter and pianist Ben Folds will join the Grant Park Orchestra at 6:30 p.m. July 29 at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park for a concert of his music, led by conductor Kedrick Armstrong.

Reserved seats in the Seating Bowl and the Choral Balcony ($45) for “An Evening with Ben Folds” with the Grant Park Music Festival will go on sale at 10 a.m. April 21 at 312-742-7647 and gpmf.org.

Free lawn seating and other seats in the Seating Bowl will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Folds, also known for his work with the Ben Folds Five, most recently released an album of live orchestral performances of his hits, recorded before he stepped down as artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

In 2026, Grant Park Music Festival commemorates the United States’ founding and bids adieu to its leader
