Four men and a toddler sustained minor injuries when a 96-year-old man drove his car into a West Elsdon Chipotle Saturday afternoon, Chicago police said.

The crash took place around 2 p.m. Saturday, when the driver suffered a medical emergency that prevented him from stopping the vehicle before hitting the building, police said. Aside from the reported injuries, the crash caused structural damage to the restaurant located on the 5300 block of S. Pulaski Road.

The driver and a 35-year-old victim were transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, a 29-year-old victim and toddler were transported to Stroger Hospital and two others self-transported to local hospitals. All five victims and the driver were said to be in good condition.

No citations have been issued, police said.
